WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO?

We deliver all across the GTA including; Toronto, North York, Markham, Richmondhill, Aurora, Newmarket, Vaughn, Brampton, Mississauga, Scarborough, Pickering

ARE THE MENUS SET IN STONE?

Certainly not! We are more than happy to create a custom menu or mix-and-match from our existing menus. Let us know what you are looking for, and we can make it happen.

 

ARE YOUR MEALS FRESH OR FROZEN?

All meals are prepared fresh the day before or the day of delivery. All you have to do is refrigerate the meals and reheat them in the microwave (usually 2min) whenever you're ready to eat. 

 

DO YOU RECOMMEND TO FREEZE THE FOOD?

If you don't plan on consuming your meals within 4 days of receiving them we recommend to freeze them to prolong the life of the meal. The containers the food comes in are freezable and ensures the food is protected from freezer burn for up to 90 days.

If you choose to freeze your meals the best option for reheating is to empty the contents of your meal container into an oven-safe baking tray and reheat in an oven (or microwave oven).

 

HOW LONG WILL THE FOOD LAST?

We recommend that you refrigerate your meals and snacks as soon as you receive them and keep your fridge temperature between 1-3 degrees Celsius. The meals should last you 4-5 days in the refrigerator. If you do not intend to eat the meals within the first 4 days of delivery we recommend freezing them.

 

HOW DO I REHEAT THE MEALS? 

We recommend reheating your meals in microwave for 2 minutes. If you choose to freeze the meals the best option for reheating is to empty the contents of your meal container into an oven-safe baking tray and reheat in an oven (or microwave oven).

 

DO YOU HAVE ALLERGEN INFORMATION FOR EACH MEAL?

Yes, you can find the allergen information for each meal by clicking the individual meals. If you have any allergen, let us know and we accommodate your need. We have gluten free and dairy free options.  

 

IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER OR WEEKLY COMMITMENT?

There is no minimum order or weekly commitment; you can choose all of your meals and snacks a la carte.

 

HOW DO I ORDER?

You can select as few or as many meals as you like. If you're looking for meals for the week you can select "Meal Packages" and choose between 7 meal, 10 meal, 14 meal or breakfast package. Simply add to cart and use any promotional codes on check out.

 

IS THERE AN ORDER DEADLINE?

Yes, the ordering deadline is Fridays at noon, in order to receive your meals the following Sunday. For orders received past the deadline we will do our best to accommodate your order, however, if it is received much past the deadline we will email you with an updated menu of items to choose from.

 

IS THERE A WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION OPTION?

Yes, if you would like to sign up for a weekly subscription click on "Meal Packages" and subscribe for your choice. 

 

DO I GET A DISCOUNT IF I USE THE WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION?

Yes, weekly subscribers receive an additional 10% off their meal plans week over week! 

The weekly subscription saves you the time and hassle of re-ordering each week. Simply choose your package and GreenMeal will bill your credit card once per week for your meals plus shipping. Your meals will then be delivered to you on Sundays.

 You can still select your meals each week through an exclusive link sent out to our weekly subscribers each Wednesday. If you forget to select your meals by the Friday at noon deadline we will default to 1-2 of each meal depending on your meal preferences or allergens listed.

 

IS THERE ANYTHING YOU RECOMMEND EATING FIRST FOR BEST FRESHNESS?

Yes, we recommend eating the seafood meals in the first 2 days. Chicken will last about 5 days and steak will last the longest.

 

WHAT IF I AM NOT HOME ON THE DELIVERY DAY?

The cooler bag and ice pack fee is used to maintain the care of the items. During delivery, your meals are transported in a temperature controlled cooler bag stored with frozen ice packs in order to maintain the freshness of your meals. If the driver is unable to reach you for a hand-off, they will gladly leave your meals inside the cooler bag with the ice pack to preserve the quality of the meals. It is not necessary for you to keep the items if the driver is able to reach you directly.

 

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY INSULATED COOLER BAG AND ICE?

Please leave the cooler bag out with the previous night ice packs inside so that your driver can exchange them. We will replace the defrosted ice packs with fresh frozen packs each subsequent delivery. 

Once a package has arrived at its intended location and has been left with either the concierge or at the door, GreenMeal holds no further liability for the safety of the package or its contents.

HOW DO I PLACE MY ORDERS?

You may place an order online by writing us an email or you may call us to place your order with a Catering Coordinator. We will calculate the fees based on your order and send you a receipt. You can pay the fees with a credit card or a check. 

DOES THE COST ON THE WEBSITE INCLUDE STAFF AND RENTALS? 

The prices listed on our website are for the food only. Staff and rental charges vary on a wide variety of factors, including timeline, location, menu, venue-provided supplies, etc. If you wish for the full-service option (with staff and rentals), one of our Event Coordinators will be happy to put a detailed catering proposal together for you based on your requirements.

 

DO I NEED SERVICE STAFF, OR CAN I JUST GET THE FOOD DELIVERED? 

You can certainly request a simple drop off instead of a fully staffed event. This may limit some of the menu choices as certain items do need to be assembled by our professional staff, but our Coordinators are happy to assist with building a menu that you can easily serve yourself. 

Orders canceled with less than 24 hours before delivery or pickup are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
